Tales from the Closet
GLIFAA invites LGBT employees who were working at the State Department prior to 1992 to share their stories. What was it like working in the closet? How did one navigate life overseas while keeping such a big part of one’s identity secret? And what was it like being in the Foreign Service in an era very different than today?
