Our Community

The GLIFAA Community is active and vibrant in Washington and at Foreign Service posts around the world. In Washington, we hold monthly happy hours and business meetings every month, and we typically host a number of events during LGBT Pride Month in June. We also host several other social events each year and sponsor an LGBT Foreign Affairs Scholarship.

Overseas, our network of Post Representatives ensures that GLIFAA members and allies are connected to the organization and to its important issues worldwide. Our representatives also plan social events abroad for GLIFAA members and help missions plan LGBT-themed outreach activities.
